John Browning
Owner
John Browning has been involved in the computer and electronics industry for over forty years. He worked for Radio Shack in the late 1970s and early 1980s selling TRS-80 computers and consumer electronics while earning a degree at The University of Alabama at Birmingham. After graduating from college he accepted a sales position with a local computer dealer, selling IBM, Compaq, Hewlett-Packard and Microsoft products. After many years in the sales arena, John became involved in the design and implementation of computer network systems. In 2002, John opened Cahaba Valley Computer Services to provide the services of a “Virtual IT Department” to his clients. John and his wife Patti are longtime residents of Shelby County, Alabama.
Daniel McDonald
Network Support Technician
Daniel turned his passion for computers into a career and graduated with honors from Herzing University with an Associate of Science degree in Computers, Electronics, and Telecommunications. He is a Microsoft Certified Professional and SonicWALL CSSA certified. In his free time he loves being with his kids, watching sports, and riding his motorcycle. He believes that with his prior experience in management, combined with his career in the computer industry, he can help clients improve their technology operations, which will improve their overall business operations and security.
Sherri Fauer
Office Administrator
When you call in, there’s a good chance you will talk to Sherri. She earned a BBA in Management from the University of Texas – Permian Basin and joined CVCS in 2018 as Office Administrator. Prior to that, she was a stay at home mom for 20 years with countless volunteer hours at various schools, soccer fields and cross country meets. She’s originally from Sweetwater, Texas but has lived in the Birmingham Area since 1996. She and her husband, Doug, have 2 children in college. When she’s not at the office, Sherri enjoys traveling, cooking and spending time with her children.
