Summer has arrived with all of its glory and heat. It sure is nice to have a few extra hours of daylight after work. The extra daylight is especially nice if you have children playing on sports teams or if you enjoy gardening or some other outdoor activity.
Usually summer means vacation time. It is always great to get away from the daily grind and spend some quality time with our families. As nice as it is to get away, some of us have jobs that require us to stay somewhat connected to our businesses. There are several programs that allow you to connect to your computer desktop remotely. The prices for these programs range from free to around $50 per month, depending on the level of data security that you need. Another option for staying in touch with your business is a file synchronization tool. With file syncing, you can share files with other team members in your company through a cloud based connection. As long as you have access to a computer, such as one in a hotel business center, you can review and make necessary changes to documents and place them back in a folder for use by your co-workers.
